There are other online travel agents (OTA) you may wish to look at. I have used Home Away as an example. Booking.com, TripAdvisor, AirB&B. All have their place but I can guarantee you can do better if you #bookdirect.

Use the OTAs as a shop window to find the holiday home you would like to stay in then take down the name of that holiday home, for example, La Maison de Maitre, Loire Gite. Put it into GOOGLE and #BOOKDIRECT from the business listing.
